Insight Cloud isn't just another BI tool for internal data—it's a platform designed from the ground up for the secure exchange of comprehensive insights solutions.

We're hiring a Vice President of Sales to lead our sales team and help data and insights consumers, particularly CPG companies, Retailers, and the Agencies representing them, answer their most pressing business questions by subscribing to applications on Insight Cloud. You’ll be shaping the go-to-market motion for Insight Cloud, and you’ll work closely with the Seek leadership team on strategy and scaling revenue. With a host of incredible data providers (Gopuff, Ibotta, Nielsen IQ) already on Insight Cloud and more to follow, you and your team will be able to counsel partners on a range of applications that will help them answer questions and make better decisions on advertising, marketing, strategic planning, product development, consumer research, real estate, supply chain, distribution and more initiatives.

What you'll be doing

  • Insight Cloud Revenue: Own revenue targets for subscribing CPG, Retail, and Agency partners and the entire pipeline for those partners from prospecting to renewal

  • Management: Manage a team of sellers responsible for delivering Insight Cloud revenue including hiring and coaching and all aspects of quantitative and qualitative performance management

  • Strategy: Work closely with the Chief Commercial Officer and the Seek leadership team on sales and go to market strategies including pricing, packaging, contracting, and support models

  • Executive relationships: Develop and nurture strong relationships with senior leaders at CPG, Retail, and Agency partners to help your sales team accomplish their revenue goals

  • Cross-functional collaboration: Partner closely with the Product, Marketing, and Customer Success teams at Seek to provide product feedback for the roadmap, context for marketing strategies and tactics, and to ensure best in class service for CPG, Retail, and Agency partners

  • Market Analysis: Monitor CPG, Retail, and Agency trends and competitor activities to identify new partnership and product opportunities

Requirements

  • 15-20 years sales, business development, and management experience

  • Experience selling data and insights directly into CPGs, Retailers, or Agencies or managing a team that does so

  • Proven track record of exceeding sales, quota, or business line goals and helping scale revenue over a multi-year period

  • Experience hiring, coaching, and promoting sellers on your team

  • Demonstrated business development experience including executive-relationship building, business plan formation and execution, and ownership of strategic initiatives

  • Familiarity with the advertising technology space, including how data is leveraged for activation, attribution, and analytics use case

  • Startup experience—comfortable moving quickly and wearing multiple hats

  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time for partner meetings, conferences, and team off-sites

Salary Range + Bonus:

$180,000 - $360,000 including variable compensation
