Insight Cloud isn't just another BI tool for internal data—it's a platform designed from the ground up for the secure exchange of comprehensive and ready-to-use data solutions. 

We're hiring a Senior Software Engineer, AI Integration, who loves building polished, scalable applications and has hands-on experience integrated emerging AI capabilities into real-world products. You’ll work across the stack—front end, back end, and cloud infrastructure—while also helping shape how AI features like natural language search, guided workflows, and intelligent recommendations shape our customer experiences in Insight Cloud. 

What you'll be doing

• Build full stack features using React, Python, and modern APIs to deliver high-quality user experiences 

• Design and extend backend services & APIs that integrate AI models and external AI services into the platform 

• Create intuitive user workflows that incorporate AI (e.g., conversational data querying, assisted discovery, or guided analytics) 

• Integrate with Snowflake and our semantic modeling layer to deliver seamless data-driven applications 

• Contribute to app store experiences, including intelligent recommendations and AI-assisted publishing flows 

• Ensure reliability at scale by implementing testing, CI/CD pipelines, and observability across frontend and backend systems 

• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, and engineering peers to turn AI opportunities into usable features 

Qualifications

• 6+ years of full stack development experience with strong proficiency in React and Python 

• Proven track record building and shipping production-grade web applications (SaaS or data platforms a plus) 

• Solid understanding of system architecture, API design, and distributed systems 

• Familiarity with AI/ML integration (using APIs, SDKs, or model endpoints) in production software 

• Strong debugging/problem-solving skills across both frontend and backend layers 

• Excellent communication and collaborative skills in agile, cross-functional teams 

Preferred Experience

• Hands-on experience integrating LLMs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.) or retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines into apps 

• Knowledge of agent frameworks or intelligent assistant patterns 

• Familiarity with Snowflake or other cloud data warehouses 

• Startup experience; comfortable moving quickly and wearing multiple hats
